Connecting Parent Organizations and the Business Community
We have hundreds of Parent Group Volunteers that help the Gilbert Public School District provide exemplary support services in our schools. In addition, these groups which include PTO's, Booster Groups and various campus clubs, raise and subsequently spend, over $3 million a year on their events, programs and extra-curricular activities.
VNet's mission is to facilitate networking among these groups and connect them with the local business community and quality fundraising organizations. In 2009, VNET hosted it's first Vendor Expo. More than 250 volunteers from GPS attended and interacted with the participating 55 vendors. The feedback from both vendors and volunteers was overwhelmingly positive.
We have held EXPO's since 2011 and our latest one in August of 2019
